Cheeseburger Pasta Bake with Bacon
Ingredients
250g macaroni pasta
450g lean beef mince
6 rashers of bacon
350ml beef stock
½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp corn flour
3 tbsp ketchup
120g cheddar cheese
60g mozzarella cheese
Method
- Cook the bacon, dry off the fat with a paper towel and chop into pieces.
- Cook the pasta according to packet instructions, then drain.
- Meanwhile, cook the beef and drain off any fat.
- Mix the stock, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and corn flour into a jug.
- Combine the pasta, beef, bacon and sauce, stirring well.
- Cook on a medium heat until the sauce thickens, adding more beef stock if the mixture becomes too thick.
- Grate your cheeses and spread over the top of the mixture.
- Cover and cook on a low heat until the cheese is melted.
- Serve.
