12 linked chipolatas

6 rashers of smoked streaky bacon

Drizzle of vegetable oil


  1. Preheat the oven to 200C / gas mark 6
  2. Untwist the links between each sausage, making sure they all remain connected.
  3. Gently squeeze the sausage meat into the gaps to create one long sausage.
  4. Wrap the bacon rashers diagonally around the sausage until it is all coated.
  5. Coil the wrapped sausage around itself and place into an ovenproof dish.
  6. Drizzle with oil and bake for 20 mins until golden brown.
  7. Serve.
