Make a full English breakfast for hot breakfast month using our meats!
February is a time when we celebrate hot breakfast month, which is just what we need during these cold months! Using this simple recipe, you can cook a delicious English breakfast for two in just 30 minutes, using our finest quality sausages and cut bacon – we guarantee the whole family will love this recipe!
• 4 sausages
• 6 rashers of bacon
• 4 flat mushrooms
• 4 ripe tomatoes
• 2 thick slices of black pudding
• 2 large egg
• 1 tin of baked beans
Heat the flat grill plate on a low heat and brush slightly with light olive oil – to cook the sausages first.
Add our delectable sausages to the hot grill plate and allow to cook slowly for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown – after the first 10 minutes, increase the heat to medium before beginning to cook the other ingredients.
Place the bacon straight on to the same grill for 2-4 minutes each side or until your preferred crispiness is reached. Once the sausages and bacon are both cooked, kept on a hot plate in the oven.
For the mushrooms, wash away any dirt and season with salt and pepper and drizzle over a little olive oil. Cut the tomatoes in half lengthways and season with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil again. Place these on the grill plate and cook the tomatoes for 1-2 minutes and 5 minutes for the mushrooms.
For the black pudding, cut the black pudding into 3-4 slices and remove the skin. Place on the grill plate and cook for 2 minutes each side until slightly crispy. Places the beans in a pan on low heat and warm for 5 minutes.
Lastly, the fried eggs – break two eggs at a time straight into a pan on medium heat and leave for 30 seconds. You may cook this to your preferred crispiness.
Once all the ingredients are cooked, serve on warm plates, and enjoy!
